The Mission Behind Controlled Phonetic Reading
For years, I’ve watched dedicated students work hard yet continue to struggle with reading. Controlled Phonetic Reading was developed to give teachers and parents a simple, systematic program that builds confidence—one sound at a time.
By introducing phonograms gradually and intentionally, the program allows even hesitant or reluctant readers to experience meaningful early success. Many students are able to read their very first story after mastering just three letter sounds
This method has delivered measurable results in hundreds of classrooms and homes, empowering students across the nation to become confident, capable readers—often far faster than anyone expected
After 6–8 weeks of using the CPR program, our struggling readers showed a 20–30% improvement. This program is truly a game-changer for early literacy.

The Fact & Myth
Understanding Dyslexia
There are many common misconceptions about dyslexia in which parents, teachers, and students need to be aware. Early screening and intervention is important in ensuring the success of a dyslexic student in the classroom.
Dyslexia is a learning disability that makes reading difficult. It affects word decoding skills, spelling, writing, and reading fluency. It also can inhibit reading comprehension, which can lead to trouble in nearly all school subjects.
There is no medication that can cure dyslexia. Instead, it is used for attention-disorders. Cognitive training without an effective reading program does not improve reading outcomes.
Longitudinal studies show that of those children who are reading disabled in 3rd grade, 74% continue to read significantly below grade level in the 9th grade.
Medication and Brain Training Work. Medication can cure dyslexia. Brain training alone can improve reading.
Approximately 1 in 5 students suffer from dyslexia worldwide, it is a common neurological disability
